Midwives in Chad work to make birth safer for mothers and babies

Some of you may know Christy Harrison and her husband, Peter Sensenig and their children. Christy serves as a nurse at Guinebor Hospital in N’Djamena, Chad, a country that has some of the highest maternal mortality rates in the world. She and a group of midwives work tirelessly to reduce the rate of mortality for mothers and newborn babies.
