Occupation: President of Virginia Mennonite Missions

Kauffman serves as the president of Virginia Mennonite Missions (VMMissions). Through this role, he loves to see people transformed and released into God’s reconciling work through the gospel of Jesus Christ. He holds an M.Div. from Eastern Mennonite Seminary and a D.Min. from Asbury Theological Seminary.

Kauffman is married to Laura, and they have four children. From 2005-08, they served jointly with Mennonite Mission Network and VMMissions in La Mesa, Colombia. Prior to that, Aaron confirmed a call to cross-cultural ministry through a one-year internship with Eastern Mennonite Missions in Ethiopia. He has taught English in Rockingham County (Virginia) Public Schools and served on the faculty of Eastern Mennonite University.

Kauffman enjoys time with his family, reading, outdoor activities, music and good coffee. He and his family worship with Mosaic of Grace Church in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He is an ordained minister in Virginia Mennonite Conference.
