Anabaptist Mennonite Trust

Anabaptist Mennonite Trust is a relational network of individuals, communities and organizations exploring the insights and experiences of the Anabaptist tradition and promoting Mennonite and Anabaptist values through seminars, webinars, the Centre for Anabaptist Studies, and an Anabaptist library.

The Anabaptist Mennonite Trust exists to embody and promote Mennonite and Anabaptist insights into Christian discipleship. The Trust organizes seminars on contemporary themes in a Christian perspective, and provides an Anabaptist library, a center for Anabaptist studies in Bristol, and regular webinars.

Mennonite ministry in England dates back to the early 1950s when the former Mennonite Board of Missions established a ministry to international students studying in England and in need of housing. In the late 1970s, under the direction of Alan and Eleanor Kreider, the focus of the London Mennonite Centre shifted to building intentional Christian community and offering Anabaptist resources to churches in post-Christendom Britain. In June 2003, the Centre celebrated its 50th anniversary. The ministry relocated in 2012, and the name was changed in 2013.
