NEWTON, Kansas (Mennonite Mission Network) ⸺ On Aug. 1, Stanley W. Green, outgoing executive director for Mennonite Mission Network, is passing the baton to Michael J. Sherrill, PhD, his successor.
To mark this milestone, Mission Network is sponsoring a free webinar, "Advancing God’s mission: tending the vision, today and tomorrow," to begin at 7 p.m. EDT June 11. To join the inspiring online event, register here.
During the webinar, the two leaders will share their perspectives, hopes and prayers regarding the leadership transition. You will have an opportunity to ask questions of Green and Sherrill after Laurie Oswald Robinson, Mission Network editor, moderates a time of discussion by posing questions and inviting them to ask questions of each other.
Green served as the agency’s first leader since its formation in 2002. Sherrill, prior to his new appointment, served as director of Asia and the Middle East for Mission Network since 2017. He is an ordained educator, scholar, administrator and leader with 25 years of global experience.
