When you apply, you’ll be asked to provide three references, so have their contact information handy. After we receive your references, we’ll do a short interview and will let you know if you’ve been accepted into the program. Sometime in March or early April, we’ll assign you to a team.
Here’s a refresher on our host locations this summer:
INDIA: June 18–July 3, 2016
Come experience a culture full of extremes—wealth and poverty, privilege and social injustice—woven together with beauty and history. We will travel to Menno-Clinic, in the village of Chiluvuru, over to the United Biblical Seminary in Pune, and then north to Delhi and Agra.
CONGO: July 5–22, 2016
Your Youth Venture team will join with the Mennonite Church of Congo to assist with a youth Bible/soccer camp in the city of Tshikapa. You will learn about what life is like for Congolese Mennonite young people through conversation and experiences such as visiting a Congolese village and the capital city of Kinshasa.
LITHUANIA: July 5–21, 2016
Get ready to immerse yourself in Eastern European culture! Join in the work of building a Christian youth camp in Lithuania.
INDONESIA: June 14–29, 2016
The 17,500 islands that make up the archipelago of Indonesia are full of diversity. You’ll be in Central Java, in the city of Ungaran, hosted by the 800+ members of the JKI Maranatha Mennonite Church, and by the current Journey International team.
