Before joining the Mennonite Mission Network team in January 2023, I graduated from Mount Vernon (Ohio) Nazarene University in spring 2021, with my bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in intercultural studies. In 2022, I served as the administrative intern for the Northeast Asia Regional Peacebuilding Institute (NARPI) in Namyangju, South Korea. Working with NARPI in this capacity equipped me with the skills necessary to serve Mission Network as the regional administrator assistant. Because of the nature of this role, I am able to interact with many people connected to Mission Network, and beyond, all around the world.
I am based in Pickerington, Ohio, and I am a member of Sonnenberg Mennonite Church in Kidron, Ohio. In my free time, I enjoy reading, searching for and drinking good coffee, and spending time with my friends, family, and dog. I love travelling and experiencing new cultures whenever possible, as well as hearing the stories and learning about the lives of those around me. I am a firm believer in the phrase, Community care is self-care, and that, by nurturing the relationships we have with those around us (whether near or far), we can flourish in the work that God has called us to do.
We should all do something for peace.
