I am a lifelong learner, who loves helping others learn and develop. I have worked in training, development and leadership within education, government, business, non-profit, cooperatives and as an independent consultant.
In my role at Mennonite Mission Network, I facilitate the work of training and resources specialists and the project manager to help provide missional, discipleship, and church-planting learning opportunities and resourcing to equip national and international learners.
It is exciting to bring my professional experiences and education into a missional focus. I appreciate having an opportunity to collaborate with a diverse, globally-minded team and people who are guided by faithful commitments.
I lived in New York and in Ames, Iowa, before returning to my family’s homeplace near Kalona, Iowa, in 2013. My husband, Carey, and I are active at East Union Mennonite Church. I also serve on the board of directors of Crooked Creek Christian Camp and Ten Thousand Villages, Iowa City, Iowa. I received degrees from Eastern Mennonite University and Drake University.
In my free time, I love being with people friends, old and new, and especially family, which includes my three grandchildren.
