I have been working at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary (AMBS) for the past year, providing specialized expertise for the MATGA-Ethiopia partnership with Meserete Kristos Seminary, while also supporting the planning, implementation and evaluation of AMBS’s Global Leadership Collaborative (GLC) initiatives more broadly. This includes assisting the registrar with relevant enrollment and registration matters, continuing to advise AMBS faculty teaching courses related to GLC initiates, assisting with communication and intercultural consulting on various aspects of our GLC programming, and serving as a qualified administrator for the IDI for students enrolled through the GLC. As I join Mission Network part time, I’m looking forward to working with the team in assessing the learning and resource needs related to mission education.
I graduated from AMBS in May 2021 with a Master of Arts in theology and peace studies. I previously earned a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Christian ministry from Meserete Kristos (Ethiopian Mennonite Church) Seminary in Debre Zeit, Oromiya region, Ethiopia, where I’m originally from.
Me, my spouse and our two daughters are currently living in Elkhart, Indiana, and attending Pleasant View Mennonite Church in Goshen, Indiana. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my two children.
