I am humbled and excited to be on the staff of Mennonite Mission Network working out of the Newton, Kansas, office. I grew up on a dairy farm near Halstead, Kansas, and have attended First Mennonite Church in Halstead my entire life. I have called North Newton home for 25 years. After graduating from Bethel College (Kansas), I worked 23 years in the retail lumber industry in Newton. During this time, I developed an appreciation for building relationships with customers. They were not just our customers; they were, and still are, valued friends.
In this new career chapter for me, I look forward to continuing to build relationships as I meet the many generous people who believe in the work of Mission Network.
Mission Network programs and ministries stretch from coast to coast in the United States and internationally, which enables people to serve Christ in a variety of ways around the globe. It is inspiring to see how God can work through not only the people being served, but also the people serving. As part of the donor relations team, I will share with people the opportunities available to be a part of something special.
I connect with donors in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Oregon.
