Mennonite Mission Network personnel in Bangkok are engaged in language study in preparation for future work in evangelism and economic development among the Isaan people who have moved to the city from rural areas. Personnel are establishing relationships with people and are building a network for future ministry. Mission Network connections in northwest Thailand have led to a strong relationship with a group of Hmong churches, which are part of the Christian Church of Thailand. One aspect of this relationship is providing scholarships for enabling young church leaders to gain biblical and theological education.
