Northern Cheyenne Mennonite Camps at Crazy Head Springs

Northern Cheyenne Mennonite Church Camps at Crazy Head Spring is hosted by all three Mennonite Churches (White River Cheyenne, Lame Deer and Ashland Christiaan Fellowship) on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation. We are seeking volunteers to assist with mechanical upkeep at our camps. Specifically, assistance is needed with the diesel generator and water system. Other volunteers are needed to help with camp set-up and dismantling and also with camp cooking. The camp is located in the hills at Crazy Head Springs, on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation, in southeastern Montana. This provides a unique opportunity in a cross-cultural setting.

Our Camps are run usually the second and third week of July with setup starting the last week of June and dismantling of camp being the last week of July.  This is when volunteers are needed.

We provide housing or RV connections and most of your meals are provided during camp time.  You will want to bring Work clothing and shoes, and clothing for climate changes – it can be hot during day but cools off in evening.
