Korea Peacebuilding Institute (KOPI) is a peacebuilding institute that provides training on restorative justice and peace education for schools, organizations, and communities.
Korea Peacebuilding Institute (KoPI) is a community mediation and peace-training organization that has been active in metropolitan Seoul for nearly 10 years. KoPI is developing a Korean model of the Victim-Offender Reconciliation Program to apply to school violence.
KoPI staff have trained at Eastern Mennonite University’s Center for Justice and Peacebuilding, and are actively working at connecting Korean peace workers with like-minded activists in other Asian countries (see NARPI). Staff members also translate and edit written restorative justice materials into Korean, including Victim-Offender Reconciliation Program materials (MCC, 2003) and Changing Lenses by Howard Zehr.
