Fellowship of Mennonite Churches in Taiwan is a conference of 20 congregations in Taipei, Taoyuan, Taichung and Hualien.
The total baptized membership of this conference in 2004 was 1,658. The ministries of the fellowship include evangelism and church planting, social service, theological education and publication. Social ministries include the Mennonite Christian Hospital in Hualien, the New Dawn Educational Institute for mentally challenged persons, the Good Shepherd Center with a ministry to aboriginal girls and abused women, and the Elderly Care Training Center. The fellowship is a member of Asia Mennonite Conference and Mennonite World Conference.
The Fellowship of Mennonite Churches in Taiwan was formed in 1962 as an autonomous church organization. In 1994 the mission closed its work in Taiwan and the fellowship signed a sister church covenant with the Mennonite churches of North America. The fellowship contributes financial support to the Mission Network for various programs.
