TRAVEL INFORMATION:
You will be meeting your team for orientation July 6-7, at a location still to be determined. You will need to make your own travel arrangements to orientation. Your team will leave the US on the 7th and will fly into Tel Aviv. YOUTH VENTURE will make your travel arrangements from the US to Tel Aviv.

GENERAL OVERVIEW:
You will discover the land where Jesus walked by living, learning, and serving with local Israelis and Palestinians. After your arrival in Tel Aviv you will go to Nazareth for a few days of on-site orientation. You will then spend several days hiking the Jesus Trail in Galilee, and then spend a week serving at Nazareth Village, a re-creation of Jesus’ hometown as it was 2,000 years ago. You will visit historic and Biblical sites, as well as build relationships with local Jewish and Muslim youth. Expect to be stretched by a diversity of people, learning how religious perspectives and political realities impact their lives.
HOUSING FACILITIES: Most of the time you will be staying at the Fauzi Azar Inn in Nazareth. A few nights may be spent camping while hiking the Jesus Trail, or with host families in the Bethlehem/Jerusalem area.
The weather in Nazareth is likely to be warm and dry, as it should not rain during this time of year.
Pack light! You will need to carry all your belongings as you travel. You will need to drag your suitcases through airports, train stations, buses, etc. by yourself. Please take this note seriously.
COSTS:
Trip cost is $2,600 and includes international travel, meals, lodging, and travel from the time of your departure from the US through your return on July 31st. Trip cost does not include travel to the departure city, passport, or money for laundry and souvenirs. Trip costs are subject to change in the event of significant airline price increases.
After acceptance into the Youth Venture program you will be billed for the cost of the trip. Credit card payment can be arranged with our Finance Department. |
