Service Opportunities: The International Guest House, a bed and breakfast owned by Allegheny Mennonite Conference, provides a "home away from home" for the international traveler to the DC area. Responsibilities include preparing and serving breakfast to staff and guests, cleaning guest rooms, washing guest sheets and towels, and cleaning bathrooms. Volunteers would need to interact with the guests, answer questions, give directions, share tea, cookies and conversation each evening at 9:00 pm, and eat breakfast with guests. Other duties include seasonal lawn work, answering phone and taking reservations. Great opportunity to take advantage of Washington DC sites and culture.
Lodging: Meals and lodging are provided. Volunteers would reside on second floor of guest house (guests are on separate floor). Staffing for the International Guest House is needed year-round
