Q: Where do I send my check?
A: In terms of addresses, you may send your check to your area conference office or either of the denominational locations familiar to your congregation. Mennonite Mission Network has offices that receive contributions in both Newton, Kan., and Elkhart, Ind. Those addresses are c/o:

Q: How do I make out my check?
A: If you contribute through your area conference, make the check out to your area conference and designate the amount for Mennonite Mission Network. If you send your check directly to Newton or Elkhart, write your check to Mennonite Mission Network.

Q: Can I still designate check contributions for specific ministries or workers?
A: Yes, wherever you send your check, you may designate your contribution for a specific ministry of Mennonite Mission Network or support the full scope of Mission Network ministries with an undesignated contribution.

Q: Why can't I just make out one check to Mennonite Church USA?
A: Mennonite Church USA consists of all parts of the new denomination — members, congregations, area conferences, program agencies, schools as well as the Mennonite Church USA Executive Board. The Executive Board, which provides leadership for the denomination, is funded through area conferences and program agencies. Your check needs to be made out to your area conference or one of the program agencies, Mennonite Mission Network, Mennonite Education Agency, Mennonite Mutual Aid or Mennonite Publishing House.

Q: I used to be able to write just one check for the benefit of all programs. Can I still give to "the whole?"
A: Yes, if you prefer this option, please designate it clearly on your check. Both your area conference and Mennonite Mission Network will forward the funds to the appropriate programs using the formula provided on the Firstfruits congregational worksheet.

Online contributions

Q: Can I make a secure online contribution?
A: Yes. Choose a project from the "Designation" drop-down menu. Currently there is no option to designate your funds to any other worker or ministry not featured in the drop-down menu. If designated contributions exceed the amount needed, your gift will be used for a similar project. To make a donation for the benefit of all programs, leave the "Designation" field as "Missions."
